Shape digital products from the first sketch through launch, working directly with founders and engineers.
About the role
zippix is a remote product studio. We design and build SaaS, fintech, and product experiences for teams who care about craft.
As a product designer you will own flows, interface decisions, and the story of the product. You will work in a small team, write clearly, and ship work you can stand behind.
What you will do
- Lead design for client products from discovery through launch.
- Turn rough ideas into flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity interfaces.
- Work with engineers so the shipped product matches the design.
- Present work in writing and on calls, and fold feedback in without losing the point of the product.
- Help keep a small, consistent design language across the studio.
What you bring
- A portfolio of shipped product work, not only concepts.
- Comfort designing complex flows such as onboarding, dashboards, and settings.
- Clear writing and reliable async communication.
- Experience collaborating with engineers on real builds.
- A mid-level range of independence: you can run a workstream and still ask for help early.
Nice to have
- Experience with SaaS, fintech, or early-stage startups.
- Comfort in Figma and a working knowledge of how interfaces are built.
- Examples of design systems or component libraries you maintained.
